Example 1
The SchoolBrokers team was awarded the assignment to sell the Bolling Brook Academy . This boarding school in rural Carroll County had ceased operation and the leadership had hired the SchoolBrokers team to sell the 110 acre campus, with 80,000 s.f. of buildings and all of the chattels. We determined that their fleet of school buses, work trucks, vans and staff cars would have a higher value if sold separate from the property. We brought in a used auto wholesaler who made an acceptable offer and purchase the entire fleet.
Example 2
We were retained to handle the disposition of a complex that had several dozen seventy year old wooden desk and chairs as well as other functional obsolete fixtures and furnishings. Working with a local used furniture reseller we donated these items that had no value to a potential purchaser and received a tax credit for our client.
